Become a Volunteer
We all agree that North Tyneside is a great place to live and to do business.
So why not give something back for the benefit of your fellow businesses, or for the wider communities of North Tyneside?
The Business Forum could really use a hand to bring businesses together to promote local trade and help the borough to thrive.
There are a number of ways you can help, from volunteering a few hours of your time on an ad-hoc basis, to more regular or long term support across a range of areas.
- Could you offer support to other local businesses by giving some of your time, specialist advice and support, or by sharing any under-utilised equipment and resources?
- Perhaps you would like to encourage the next generation of entrepreneurs by getting involved with schools and colleges and helping to build confidence and aspirations?
- Our older people would also benefit from greater involvement in the life of the borough and have much to offer in return in terms of experience and enthusiasm.
- Or how about helping to reduce NT's carbon footprint by doing some voluntary work with community project groups, or by organising a litter pick in your local area?
If you want to be find out more about how you can do your bit for the Borough, please contact Sandra Wilson on 0191 6436000, or e-mail businessforum@northtyneside.gov.uk
