Help us celebrate business success

The best of North Tyneside business will be showcased next month.

The 'North Tyneside Business of the Year Awards' and Christmas networking event takes place on Tuesday 6 December at the Village Hotel, North Tyneside.

It offers a great opportunity for local businesses, large and small, to come together to make new contacts, and to celebrate the huge contribution that local businesses make to regeneration and the local economy.

The North Tyneside Business of the Year Awards will showcase shortlisted candidates in the categories of; Best Manufacturer, Service Sector, Retailer, Business Start-Up and Young Entrepreneur.

There'll also be one overall winner who'll be named as 'North Tyneside Business of the Year 2011'.

This year's event will also break new ground by allowing the business community to choose, on the night, the winner of the Young Entrepreneur category via smart phone.

There'll also be ample opportunity to network with the borough's business movers and shakers. A tapas style buffet will be served and guests will be entertained by local swing singer Jason Isaacs.

The event takes place on Tuesday 6 December, from 7pm at the Village Hotel, Cobalt Business Park, North Tyneside, NE27 0BY. It is open to all members of the North Tyneside Business Forum and is free to attend.
